Press/Media General Information
Trade media are welcomed to attend TRAVDEX®. All press registrations will be evaluated by our media relations staff, who will contact members of the media for verification or send confirmation that media credentials have been granted.
TRAVDEX offers members of the media:
- A comfortable, private meeting room in the host facility
- The ability to conduct interviews with conference delegates in a relaxed environment
- All-inclusive passes for admittance to all conference programs, including opening and closing receptions
- Attendee/Exhibitor/Sponsor information
WORKING PRESS
Complimentary press passes are available to members of the media who are “working press” on assignment covering the event or the companies presenting. To qualify for a pass, you must be employed by or freelance for the editorial side of a publication, or produce news segments for a broadcast outlet. Your role or title at the publication cannot be in a sales or promotional capacity (i.e. Publisher, CEO, Public Relations titles do not qualify for complimentary press passes). You will be asked to submit recent, relevant bylined articles or describe your qualifications. The pass is valid for all conference sessions, meals and materials.
The media relations staff may contact journalists who were granted credentials after the convention to request clippings or other evidence of coverage.
TRAVDEX and its media relations representatives reserve the right to deny media credentials to individuals who abuse the privilege or obtain credentials under false pretenses. In the event that an individual is granted credentials and fails to report on the conference, he or she might be denied media registration at subsequent conferences.
TRAVDEX reserves the right to qualify journalists upon receipt of the application. Questions should be directed to mpierson [at] travdex.com or +1 949 457-1545 x105. Your request for a press pass acknowledges that we may share your contact information with conference attendees (however, we will not divulge your email address).
In the event that media relations staff cannot verify the credentials of an individual requesting a press badge, a determination will be made by the media relations supervisor or designated staff member. Decisions of the media relations staff related to granting media credentials are final.
Members of the press are not permitted to sell or promote any company or product at any time during TRAVDEX.
